I'm a tutor who is based out of Atlanta, Georgia, where I enjoy hiking, dancing, and reading when I'm not working with students. I have my bachelor's degree in international affairs from Kennesaw State University, where I also received a minor in classical studies and a concentration in applied languages. As a tutor, I'm able to help students in English as a second language, reading, writing, and essay editing, amongst other things. I'm deeply passionate about helping people. Tutoring allows me to pursue this passion and to make a real impact on the lives of young people. I started tutoring by volunteering at a church teaching English to speakers of other languages. I quickly fell in love, and have been working as a tutor ever since "” I even decided to become a certified ESL instructor. I believe that education is unique in its ability to truly transform the life of a person. I strive to help all of my students reach their academic goals, a process I facilitate by providing individualized lesson plans targeted to their specific strengths and weaknesses. Through this one-on-one attention, I know that my students will leave our sessions together feeling more confident in their ability to excel academically.
