Experience
With an MA degree in History, I now teach at a local college. I like to help individuals of all ages with their learning needs. We work on better understanding history text, test preparation, study skills, and essay writing. I have experience teaching at multiple college, and often focused on U.S. History and World History. I love both of these subjects. As a college teacher, my student evaluations were always great. In my classes, I like to make history more fun. I also like to relate past stories to today so that students can get a better understanding.History doesn't have to be boring. I can make it fun by telling a story and explaining the situation behind what happened. I like to work with my students to improve their writing skills. We can work on story and organization ideas and we can also work on essay writing. I've helped many students with their thesis statements, and have helped students make correct connections from the materials that we've worked on. I like to share my own knowledge and like to get students excited about the subject. I can work at any student's speed and will work with them until they understand. When I'm not teaching, I like to read, watch movies, and watch football.
